Roco’s Rescue Technician level recertification program provides an update on the latest techniques, equipment and standards while renewing certification for another two years. Extensive hands-on teaching stations and realistic problem-solving exercises include on-air, simulated IDLH scenarios as well as high angle (elevated) rescue operations. Participants will have the opportunity to practice their skills prior to testing, which includes individual skills proficiency, scenario-based performance evaluation and written exam. Recertification is also an excellent means to ensure that individual skills proficiency requirements are met and documented in accordance with OSHA 1910.146. Students can recertify to the Technician level in Confined Space Rescue (30 hours) or Confined Space and Rope Rescue combined (40 hours).
