Tower Work and Rescue

Are your employees working in remote locations with distant emergency response services? This can be a recipe for disaster unless they are familiar with self-rescue techniques and the importance of preplanning for emergency rescue. A minimal workforce requires pre-rigging of lifesaving systems prior to the start of work — and especially before a rescue may be needed. Prepare your personnel for taking immediate action when the need is dire with simple and efficient rescue systems and lightweight equipment. Planning, self-rescue and small team rescue operations are the focus of this program.

This 30-hour course is designed for tower workers or emergency responders who may be called to tower incidents. The latest standards, such as NATE CTS, ANSI Z359.4, and OSHA, will be used to guide safe work practices at height taught during this class. The training will emphasize safe and efficient tower rescue operations, using modern techniques and equipment that can be used during planned work activities and then double as components of the tower rescue system.
