Developed specifically for erectors and workers who maintain modern wind turbine towers, this course focuses on safe, efficient tower techniques using pre-engineered and component rescue systems. Participants will learn practical skills along with the proper use of equipment to provide rescue capabilities anywhere inside the mono tube as well as from the inter-decks, yaw-deck and ladders. Techniques for rescuing harnessed victims as well as those that require packaging in a litter will be taught during this course. Participants will also have the opportunity to practice their newly learned skills in realistic problem-solving exercises that include rescue from both inside and atop the nacelle and hub.
