Allesandro “San” Te
Tactical Chief Instructor
San Te joined Roco Rescue in September 2022 and is a Tactical Chief Instructor with a background in technical rescue, rope systems, climbing, mountain movement, and field instruction.
He sees Roco’s mission as providing the highest caliber of rescue training for people working in demanding, high-consequence environments. He is especially drawn to mountain and backcountry environments and brings more than 10 years of experience in the technical rope world, including climbing, rescue operations, backcountry movement, and technical rope systems. San’s extensive skills are supported by training through the AMGA Single Pitch Instructor course, the Southeast Asia Climbing Federation, and Singapore National Climbing Standards.
His experience combines real-world field application with backend product and production knowledge developed through work with PPE manufacturers. He has contributed to operations, design, testing, and certification of equipment for civilian and tactical use, including work tied to product compliance. He continues to support the development of tactical harness systems, force absorbers for tandem barrel jumpers, and related manufacturing coordination.
