Description
The Rock Exotica rockSteel Carabiner is an extremely lightweight steel carabiner with a high breaking strength keylock and a large gate opening. This carabiner is CNC machined, so the fittings and tolerances are extremely precise. The high strenght-to-weight ratio is achieved by using steel that is 7/16 inches in diameter, which is slightly less than the 1/2 inch steel used in many steel carabiners. However, the steel used in this carabiner is heat treated for additional strength.
This auto-lock version meets CE, UIAA, ANSI, and NFPA G standards.
