Description

SMC’s Large Locking Steel Carabiner features stainless steel gates and locking sleeves for greater strength and reliability. All the components in this carabiner are carefully hand-finished after machining, resulting in the smooth and free gate action that SMC carabiners are known for. Problems with knob binding on loaded carabiner frames are not an issue with this carabiner, since the sleeve locks on the carabiner gate instead of the body.

Constructed with a large gate opening that fits easily over litter rails, the SMC Large Locking Steel Carabiner is well suited for transport and fire rescue missions.

Sleeve is precisely aligned by hand so that it moves freely and locks on gate not the frame thus prevents jamming upon release under heavy loads.
