Sharing a Little Christmas Cheer.. Roco Style
Every year we put together a Christmas card for the people who make up our extended Roco family. That includes our admin team, our field employees, our instructors, our clients, and all our friends who have supported us along the way. We celebrate Christmas and the blessed hope it represents, and this card has become one of our favorite ways to share that spirit.
This year’s card brought something new. It marks the first appearance of Midnight the Rescue Cat, inspired by Ms. Kay’s beloved black cat. Midnight is joined by a team of Cajun characters who feel right at home in our world. Gaston the Gator, Clotilde the Crawfish, and Pierre the Possum all step in as the Roco Rangers.
Together they carry a small Christmas story told across the panels of the card. It goes like this: Santa paid a visit to Louisiana, enjoyed a few too many of MiMi’s pralines, and found himself stuck in a chimney on the way out. Midnight and the Rangers showed up to lend a hand and pop him free so he could keep delivering presents to his favorite place.
The card is lighthearted, but it is special to us. It is a tradition we look forward to because it lets us share a bit of joy with the people we work with and care about. If you would like to receive a copy each year, send an email to info@rocorescue.com and we will add you to our Christmas card list.
From all of us at Roco Rescue, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and we thank you for being part of our little family!
